Anyone tryed DP5 with the new Smphony Pci-e card from Apogeedigital.com?

There is the new Symphony pci audio card from Apogee... i bet it sounds great.

i want to buy the UAD-1e express having a G5 2ghz, 2.5 ram, and DP5.01. Any of you have had hardware problems with this or similiar configuration? Other question is, in Italy the prices are ridiculous high so any suggest for a big professionial audio store in USA or other places where i can buy it a...

Nice Jstaczek, he suggested me: "using the Add Printer utility, add an IP printer, address of 127.0.0.1. For the driver (Print Using:) select Generic PostScript printer. Print from DP to that using either Preview or Save As PDF. I just tried it and it prints perfectly from DP. And it worked!! T...

Well, my english is not good so i'm talking about missing "beams" between notes..:) So the Frodo's sumary is perfect but changing "ties" with "beams". Jstaczek, i downloaded suitcase for the font but i didnt understand very well what i have to do. i reinstalled DP 5.01 ...

The ties appear on computer ( on score of quickscribe), but dont appear in pdf and in printer and in the preview of printer.
i don't think is a font problem cause if a save the score as pdf i dont see the ties just on the screen of computer.

Yes a remedy to BTD problems is to record all mix in realtime in a pair of stereo... but i tryed to solve in a faster way. Anyway i had no clicks and pops, my problems was tracks that randomly went in mute. CLicks and pops are often problems of clock(internal or external) or buffersize (try to set 1...

i have my score on performer. Now i print it and save it in pdf. but unfortunately the ties between notes were not printed. I changed the printer but problem persist. i saved the pdf of the score, i load the pdf and the problem persist, no ties... i go on preview and the problem persist... no ties.....

Try it and let me know.., i test it with 2408 mkII, with 828 and with mac internal audio interface and i get the same results, every bounce was good.

I'm still finding to solve another problem. When i print a score in quickscribe editor the ties between notes are invisibles....
even if i save the score in pdf or preview.
but it seems happens only to me...

Well it seems that resetting factory defaults of the audio interface solved some other audio problems but not the BTD problems...( the proove is that if you bounce using the mac internal audio interface the problems persist). So, try the next solution cause for me it worked. Everytime you load a son...

Anyone knows how can i reset to factory default the old 828 interface?
cause i don't see any set or value knobs here...

I had a G4 with dp 3.11. Now i upgrade to G5 dual 2.0 with 5.01, when i reload my old songs where i used waves 2.7 all is ok but waves 5 seems doent recognize the settings, the plugins are all there in the same tracks where i fitted but they are in default mode.
