What are the precise file paths for moving all my keyboard shortcuts, colours, themes, window sets etc from DP 10 (Intel Mac) to DP 11 (silicon Mac)?
I can't seem to get this to work as I was able to in the past with previous computers and versions of DP.
Thanks

Re: Bounce to Disk (Super Wide) Finder Window Bug ?
This sounds like a Finder issue. Once the huge window opens can you resize it? If you then follow through with the bounce do you get the same problem with the next bounce? Dave Hi Dave. Thanks for your reply. No, the finder window cannot be resized and gets wider and wider upon each bounce to the p...

Bounce to Disk (Super Wide) Finder Window Bug ?
When choosing Bounce To Disk command, the OS finder window goes super wide (off screen) when choosing a custom bounce folder. Sometimes DP freezes for a minute when choosing a custom folder to bounce my mix to. For now, I hit enter using the DP Default Bounce Folder Location. I re-installed DP yet t...

Thanks Phil. There's nothing like seeing this in action. A picture is worth 1000 words.
A video is worth a million.

Re: Clippings : Copying grouped audio tracks between project
For some reason, I couldn't copy / paste faders / tracks in clippings window or could I get chunks to save and load presets as you prescribed. I was able to copy insert settings / plug ins to the clippings window but not the actual tracks (Kick, Snare, Tom 1 Tom 2 etc) Perhaps It's how i'm selecting...

Re: Clippings : Copying grouped audio tracks between project
Thanks FMiguelez .. This is very helpful and I will keep bundles consistent between projects when using clippings to copy tracks. Good reminder! Regarding Chunks: From what I remember: Do I select tracks I want to include in the chunk, create and name the chunk and then load chunk within another Dp ...

Clippings : Copying grouped audio tracks between projects?
Can Clippings be used to copy a collection of grouped audio tracks (in a folder) from one DP project to another Dp project ? EG: I created 10 audio tracks (for live drums) in a Dp project and want to use the identical tracks minus the actual audio soundbites and paste / apply to other DP sessions. C...

Re: Background Processing Fix ?
Thanks... Good to know. I'll upgrade once I've completed this project. (I won't upgrade in the midst of a project) I actually did when 8 first came out and was having issues so I'm back in 7.24fgagne wrote:This is supposedly fixed in 8.07.
I haven't dug in 100% but I'm not convinced it is.

Re: Background Processing Fix ?
With the project closed, trash the Analysis Files folder for that project. When you open the project again, the Analysis folder and files will be recreated. That will usually fix it, but not always. Sometimes you have to Load the chunks into another project. BTW, if you haven't already, take a look...

Any idea how to resolve background processing window from opening / running tasks each time A particular DP session is opened? (other sessions are fine) The background processing runs each time a particular session is opened - even after DP session was saved following completed tasks. The background...

Re: Options for Fixing the Aftermath of recording with LATEN
Our best results so far come from live multi-tracking into DP using outboard mixer to monitor.
That is zero latency.
DP Recorded the session.
Live Performances captured. Magic. Little editing.

Re: UNDO HISTORY : Will flushing reclaim speed? (resolved)
That's great, Maxx!! Perhaps the reason I don't notice important speed improvements when flushing and deleting unused SBs with my G5 is because my computer goes from snail pace to turtle pace, and the difference is still in the very slow side anyway. But I'm glad it worked for you 8) Thanks Miguele...

Re: UNDO HISTORY : Will flushing reclaim speed?
:woohoo: IT WORKED! Flushing Undo History and removing unused soundbites reclaimed speed! (you're right MIDI, it wasn't rocket science :) Save, Save as, Save a Copy took 20 seconds before Undo History flush & remove unused soundbites. Now it takes 6-7 seconds. Group edge edits, slips etc in the ...
