I know this is a dumb question but....

I'm using a MOTU 24 i/o as a stand alone. I don't have a real good studio monitor setup. Plus, it's a home studio and I don't want to bother my wife, and kids, around the house, so I'd like to try headphones. I'm sure that this is normal (I'm a bit of a hardware newbie), but my outs consist, just li...

1. Where do I find this elusive trim nob?

2. I didn't break anything. It was broken when I got it. But it is EXACTLY what yoiu described 1/8 inch and all. I simply need to put on new pots.

I thank you all for your help. But as I am just using a 24i/o I have no trim nobs, that help didn't help......me. I'm using an 8 chanel board for my pre-amps, and just going out the in/out 1/4 inch connection. The sliders do nothing, however the gain does, but all but 1 knob are broken off. Nothing ...

input volume

i have no way of seting my input volume. Either I run the mic/guitar etc. into my MOTU 24i/o directly, and get a week signal, or I pass it through a preamp, that I cant control, and the signal is WAY too hot. I thought that cuemix would help with that, but it seems to be doing NOTHING about what get...

Ok....The MOTU itself works. I just cant get it to come through the pc speakers. It might be a problem with cubase. I've been told that is the program to use with my 24i/o. Ever since I installed the 424 it stoped making sound. I have found I can hear the channel I just recorded through the channel ...
