Re: MIDI play on note click?
Sorry for the lengthy delay in getting back. Audible mode did the trick. I appreciate the very quick replies with help.

MIDI play on note click?
I have been working in DP after a bit of a hiatus and am using the MIDI editing window (piano roll). Everything plays back fine, but when I click a note in the MIDI editor nothing sounds. I seem to remember when I had used DP before that when you clicked and held a a note in the MIDI editor it would...

Re: overdubbing CC automation silences MIDI notes….?
This is an odd behavior and is still happening. Has anyone from MOTU ever commented on why this happens? I work also with Cubase and Pro Tools as well and neither exhibits this problem. It's a little frustrating to have to use separate tracks. With today's modern sample libraries, there are too many...

Re: DP audio and video out of sync using MTC to slave DP
Star Trek movie rules.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Movie is already pretty small and plays completely fine if DP isn't set to external sync.
Have fun!

Re: DP audio and video out of sync using MTC to slave DP
The slave DP session has literally nothing in it except for an audio track with the movie audio. I'm using it only for movie playback. I have both pre-render settings in the preferences set to "plugins in real-time" I've tried this now using both Cubase and a separate copy of DP as MTC mas...

Re: DP audio and video out of sync using MTC to slave DP
Thanks for the ideas
I tried setting the audio buffer in DP low (128) and high (1024). I've also tried turning on and off "pre-fill" buffers as well as trying different values. Same issue. getting me stumped.

DP audio and video out of sync using MTC to slave DP
Hey all. Dunno if anyone has any experience with this, but I am trying to slave DP 8.03 on a mac to Cubase running on a PC using MTC via MIDIOverLAN. I can successfully get DP to lock to Cubase and the timecode on printed on the video as well as DP's timecode counter always seem frame locked to Cuba...

Re: DP and KeyPad Pro on iPad
Well, that's a bummer. When I try to import from my email, I get the error: "Cannot process artwork files from previous versions of KeyPad Pro. You will need to reassign the artwork after importing it into your Photo library." And then it doesn't import anything. I have tried importing the...

very kind of you thanks! However, it is requiring a user name and password to access you site. Neither of which I have I'm afraid.

Re: Lowest latency possible using plugin in real time
That's not quite correct David and is actually more latent assuming the same buffer size on your main computer. Using a second computer bussed back into DP, you have these latencies to consider. 1. The MIDI latency getting getting to the 2nd computer (even hardware has some though it's very small) 2...
