Re: DP6 to DP7 upgrade
Hey All, Thanks to all for replying with the info you all did. I really do appreciate it. I am REALLY on the fence for this one though. I really do like some of the new features though and do like the new "skins" that you can switch the GUI over to. I may see if I can go to a local GC or S...

DP6 to DP7 upgrade
Hey All, I know a lot of you are singing DP7's upgrade as a better version than DP6 ever was. I hear you believe me but what my questions is..... Is it really THAT much better than DP6? The reason I ask is this. I have been using DP on and off since DP3. Now I admit that I use a few different DAW's,...

DP6 also crashes for me
Hey all, Just to let everyone know, I am having the same kind of crash issues. Just doing some real simple stuff like adding a groove quantize MIDI plugin on a MIDI bass line track, browse through the DNA grooves and boom DP6 crashes. Also crashed when I dragged a new soundbite into a sequence windo...

Free courtesy upgrade
Hey all,
I got me free upgrade last Monday July 21st. I ordered 5.13 about a month ago, so I guess I got mine pretty quickly.
Just an FYI,
Hope it helps,
Wayne

DP and DKFHS
Hey all, If you log into the Toontrack site and go to the user download section, they have templates setup for all the biggest hosts. Nice way to use the drums with them already setup!! And yes DP is there, I think the file name is something like DPau.sit or something like that.... And BTW it is wor...

Dual cores
Multi threaded apps are multi threaded regardless if it is two physical CPU's or virtual CPU's. OSX is very good at using and disperssing threads among CPU's so the OS takes care of a lot of the work but on the other hand DP has been dual CPU aware and working from something like version 3.x in OS9 ...

Monitoring AUX and BUSSES with DP 4.5
Hello All, Still getting comfortable with DP here and have a quik question. If I bus a track out to bus 1 say, how do I change or monitor "bus 1"? I know I can see the basic volume in audio monitor, but do busses get assigned a channel strip in the mixer? Or do you need to use AUX channels...
