Does DP 7 solve the bugs and non-functioning issues of this feature?

Whenever I try to "fill in the gaps" using edge edit choice for multitrack sliced and quantized drum tracks it never works.

Don't BTD!! Simply record the mix to another stereo audio track! Better sound quality, too!! I never Bounce...simply record the mix.

I personally am a bit disappointed with the new GUI and where they've moved things. Like moving the zoom buttons way down to the lower right corner of a window... What the *%#@! To me DP 5 is way more dimensional and easy to look at. Oh, well... I'll get used to it. It's just a shame to move things ...

For example, when I've edited multi-track drums and then quantize, there will be some spaces between many of the soundbites. So, I'll select the soundbites and choose smooth audio edits...edge edit only... and only some of the soundbites will actually have the gaps filled in. It seems improved with ...

--fix smooth audio edits. This would save a lot of time, if they'd fix what they claim it will do. Or at least don't make claims that DP will do something it can't do yet.
