Re: DI Box advise for Ultralite mk5
Thank you for the answers. I am though only looking for advise to achieve a DI box. I know how the Ultralite works, it is my third one since 2006, and I want to record both vocals and electric guitar through the external preamp. I understood that you were trying to help me out with new perspectives ...

Re: DI Box advise for Ultralite mk5
Hi Mike, I have one mono preamp with 1 in and 1 out heading to the Ultralite and mic respectively. (1 cable to the Ultralite out another to the mic/instrument) If I want to record with the mic, the cable that comes from the preamp must be plug in the mic, if I want the guitar I have to change to the...

DI Box advise for Ultralite mk5
Hi there! I got a mono external preamp that I am connecting to the Ultralite mk5. In order to record vocal and electric guitar without messing with cables I need a DI Box. It seems that not every DI were created equal, that the transformers are important to take in consideration and even the metal m...

Re: Babylon waves, good or not so good?
Not good with VSL libraries (especially with strings) and unneeded, as DP recognizes Synchron player vst3 version loading all the articulations. With libraries with not so many shorts, legato variations, and so on, can be useful although despite I have it I still prefer to use the ones I have myself...

Re: Articulation maps set-up
Babylon Waves with VSL Elite isn't a good idea at all. Elite have tons of different legatos, sustains, etc whether Babylon Waves provides articulation maps ignoring all possibilities VSL strings offers. The same situation happens for Synchron strings pro, Dimension, etc.

Re: MOTU 828 es or Apollo Twin x?
I love my 828es and use every bit of I/O except one of the Optical Port pairs. The rack mount form factor is my preference. The built-in foot switch jack is excellent for hands-free punching in and out. The 828es works great, both with my old Cheesegrater Mac Pro via USB and my new Mac Studio via T...

MOTU 828 es or Apollo Twin x?
Hi there,
it is time to buy a new interface. I only use DP as a DAW, being that, MOTU 828 seems to be a natural choice but I would like to read what people using the Apollo Twin x feels about it.
Thank you,
Rubens

Re: Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 Crashing
Having the same issue now. Suspect that motu audio system is the villain here as it was the only thing I’ve updated.
Have you found any solution?

Hi Andy, I really miss the time I could work with your themes. I would buy all of them again for sure.

Re: When will DP offer articulation sets?
Michael, I don't have any hopes for that in DP11. Also skeptical about the other thing I would like to see, general clippings remembering it's outputs (project clipping do remember). I hope at least that they will add folders to MIDI device and bundles. Sorry to be pessimistic about the near future....

Re: Importing MIDI files from Notion missing tempo map
Fortunately there are workarounds. You may have to import into Logic then export from Logic Into DP. Since Logic supports MusicXML import and DP does not, I’ve used LPX as a translator for that. I have Notion 6 but use it mainly as a translator for MusicXML exported from Sibelius. you're completely...

Importing MIDI files from Notion missing tempo map
Hi there, According to the manual I can drag and drop in several different ways the imported MIDI file, and I am not having problems with that, but, with Notion files (Presonus) part of the tempo map is always missing. The meters are okay but the tempo isn't being imported at all. Tried already with...

Re: freezing tracks Kontakt
Hi FMiguelez,
yes please, I am very interested. For now, the terms like printed or unprinted/live, are Chinese for me.
I was freezing believing that the Vi's took too much resource... Also to work with only audio tracks...
But it seems now that this is not the best method...

Re: freezing tracks Kontakt
I meant the freezing because in my case, working with Vi's, I will need to freeze first in order to have the audio tracks.
Yes, the pic would be fantastic! Thank you so much FMiguelez!!!
