this is a first gen traveler, about 3 years old, I don't have access to the dsp stuff so I can't comment on that.
Geez though, they need to get it together and get everyone working!

windows 7/first gen traveler/waveRT/3.6.8.1400
It would appear that using waveRT (which are activated after install) on my motu traveler, that there are some improvements. The latency is no longer as bad. I'm getting about 3.2ms in and about 4.3 out at 96 buffer/44.1 Oddly though, 64 is not listed as an option Recording in cubase 4.5.2 mic, bass...

Re: traveler/x64/windows 7
Dude, I feel your pain. Here's what I did. After exhaustive research, and considering my "in stock" options (with a return policy) I decided to try.....gulp.......an maudio profire 610. So far to date? Much much less problems  , better sound (no really, I mean much clearer....not &q...

Re: Ultralite MK3 Input is HOT! What am I missing?
"Since the pad is NOT AVAILABLE ON the TRS jack, hot signals connected via the TRS jack will probably overdrive the input." That is not a good thing. My traveler the pad works regardless of trs or xlr. I have crossed the ultralite mk3 off my list! Hope you get it sorted out and sorry I co...

Re: Fender "Road Worn" guitars - STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!
Well, I laughed my ass off the first time I saw/played them.........but they are all gone mostly at our two GC's :o I frankly hated the ones I played. They looked like someone tried to "road wear" them too early and fast. I've seen a couple of custom shop relics that were plausible (except...

Re: Ultralite MK3 Input is HOT! What am I missing?
I doesn't matter what input I use. That is what it is there for.....signal too hot? No problem, hit the -20 db pad and adjust from there.
You should at least try it

Re: traveler/x64/windows 7
Oh, it's listed under motu's drivers. Under xp 64 at the very bottom, I thought it was weird considering the tude they gave me a long time ago about ONLY supporting the 3.6.8.x drivers  I've pretty much given up on this idea as they also want a firmware update too.....I'm kinda afraid of that ...

Re: MK3 current driver question
Oh yes sir I know ALL about that! And yes, my traveler works with 3.6.7.4 pretty much, but I'd love to step up to the DSP.....oh well.....

Re: Ultralite MK3 Input is HOT! What am I missing?
I know I have to push the pad to -20 then turn up to taste. My strat is usually at about +9 AFTER that -20 pad

Re: Motu MK3 and Windows 7
I have installed Windows 7 RC1 recently and I am thrilled with how well it performs with MOTU Ultralite mk3... I had dropouts before... Small buffers and a lot of HDD activity would initiate dropouts, particulary with WDM... Now everything works just great with the newest 1400 drivers (I havent tri...

MK3 current driver question
If someone was to get the MK3 of the traveler, ultralite, or 828, do the drivers STILL add all that extra latency, or is that only if you use them on a non mk3 unit?

traveler/x64/windows 7
I realize that motu has been a turd in the service department, and I have read allot of the stuff here and am still somewhat confused. I have a first gen traveler and have considered running a dual-boot with the new RC windows 7. Now, motu lists x64 drivers and an x64 firmware update, AND there are ...

Re: new driver version
I have been back with the 3.6.7.4 driver for quite some time (back to the first page I posted a long time ago!) and even THEY give some issues. For one, regardless of if I am using the wall wart or bus power, much of the time I'll shut off the wifi (which you basically have to with motu) and still i...

Re: new driver version
It's not going to happen though. I'm old school (traveler) and running 3.6.7.4 with really good results. But that is not going to cut it for the new MkIII systems obviously. In my conversations with motu about all the problems with the 3.6.8.1x drivers (included an 828mk3 I had bought but had to ret...
