I've been able to convert almost every format available to Machfive. I really like S1000 and Emu sounds. There are a few MPC hip hop kits available that are cool in Machfive.

it will work on a hub. I have mine in one of those chep ebay 4 port hubs. works fine.

Thanks for the info. By trial and error, I figured the problem to be with 4.12. I think there was an update that caused this problem. I still have 4.11 on my machine and I was able to track with it. I'll try your suggestion also.

My set-up. 15" PB G4 1ghz, 768 mb ram. Lacie 200 gb/FW 800 drive DP 4.12 machfive 1.08 (had major issues with so i down graded) I have no problems sequencing with machfive, my problem is when I want to track. I set the machfive instrument to output through, say bus 1-2, then set DP channel inpu...
