Thanks... Yes I've heard about the wrapper trick, and I already own the FXPansion wrapper... So I'll try it and see... it was just a bit too much to mess with during my sound design job, so I just dragged sfx into Pro Tools and used the time expansion tool to get them to work... Did well in a pinch....

MachFive V2 Crashes ProTools 7.3.1

Yes, M5 V2 crashes my Protools sessions on a regular basis... All I have to do is hit a command too quickly after hitting a previous command... There are other causes for crashes as well... It's pretty finicky when running in a Pro Tools session... And the crashes cause a reboot situation as well. I...

Been There... Done That... You do not refute any of the valid arguments I am making. MOTU should be a responsible corporate citizen. They aren't exhibiting this behavior. I think that this forum is a perfect place to express the legal rights and ramifications that users should be aware of regarding ...

I don't think James, this site's owner, is going to be too warm to associating Unicornation with a class action suit against MOTU. If you guys want to stage that, you'll probably have to do it elsewhere. Just a heads up. I don't have the time or resources to launch a class action suit for this... B...

Re: M5 Version 2

"Companies make promises, just as individuals do. Following through is their responsibilty. "The replies I've received from MOTU regarding the 2.0 update have not been straightforward." "I was assured when I purchased the product that 2.0 was imminent." Remember folks... th...

Re: Mach 5 V2

I wonder what the atmosphere is like in the office at MOTU - do you think V2's the subject nobody really mentions and whenever it does come up, people stare at the floor and cough and suddenly have to go somewhere else? It probably would have been just fine over at MOTU's Xmas party if they hadn't ...

Mach 5 V2

I'm joining too... Sometimes alittle civil disobediance goes a long way... I'm thinking of tree sitting over this... At this point I think MOTU is wearing earplugs and earmuffs so they won't hear the protest. So maybe they will pay attention to me if I climb to the top of my Xmas tree in protest... ...

Russ,
Unless your in the beta program for VST-RTAS right now, I think that my version may be more current than yours is... It's best to ask politely first before assuming...

FxPansion beta Version 2.04 just released about a week before NAMM and in the final stages of testing
