The 10.12 Lite update is a lot more stable. Not perfect but much more usable.
Did have a crash when trialling Reason Rack plugins, though.

Re: Performer Lite - crashing every few minutes
Thanks Loudon.
Yeah, it's reaaallly buggy. So many simple operations cause it to crash. I'm too scared to click on anything new, just in case!
It's a new (and kind of free) product I guess these things happen. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. Will wait for the update.

Re: Performer Lite - crashing every few minutes
Thanks Yeah, Thanks for the info. I felt that VST2 validation gave me a few more options. I've momved some of the VST files around. I'll have a further tidy up and see what I can get working. The mac I'm on (ignore my sig, you can tell how long ago I was active here!!) is only a 2009 quad core (I th...

Performer Lite - crashing every few minutes
Hi all Just picked up an M4 to go with my (relatively clean) Windows laptop so I can get some ideas down without having to so into the spare room where my studio mac is ( which is still running DP7.2.4 quite happily). I installed Performer Lite - I've not been able to keep it open for more than a fe...

Sometimes I forget I'm running 5 years behind everyone else - and that's even after upgrading!

Re: Powercore 3.1 -- anybody else have this problem? - RESOL
You guys are legends! Had resigned myself to not having stereo CL or any sidechaining and MOTUnation comes up trumps again. As an added tip, I have found re-examining any previously rejected plugs helps . The stereo CL still wasn't showing despite following James' instructions but re-examining solve...

Re: Is there any way of finding which AUs did NOT pass a tes
You know what? 30 seconds later I found it in the Preferences menu. Yeah, yeah,... :rtfm: And not only that, but re-examining the previously failed Stereo CL inexplicably caused it to load without trouble. :woohoo: Anyway, let's have a big round of applause for ... me!   RESOLV...

Is there any way of finding which AUs did NOT pass a test?
Morning all, I've been having Powercore issues (almost entirely fixed thanks to this forum - a lifesaver again!!) I've had to reinstall everything including all AUs but was wondering if there is a way of finding out which AUs did not pass the check when opening DP7 (OSX 10.4.11). (Logically I know i...

Re: Togu Audio Line (TAL) plugins
I was never one for free plug ins, especially reverbs and instruments, but I was very surprised by how just good the TAL stuff sounds. I've been pinging the synths out through my old sherman filters and the sound is close enough to a decent analogue synth for me to be happy. The chorus and phasers s...

Re: PCI-424 Interfaces no longer recognized?!
I know this is an old thread, but I wanted to thank Shooshie for his (I'm assuming "he") advice. I've had no end of problems with my G5 and 424 stopping seeing my 424, usually after it doesn't wake up properly from sleeping. Usually I just try to fiddle about re-installing drivers and all ...

Re: Coming back to D.P.
I've just gone from 3.01 on OS 9.2 to 7.21 on 10.4.11 The upgrade CD was version 7.21 and came with a nice juicy thick manual as well as a concise "getting started" booklet. Strangely it didn't arrive in a box. You don't need a previous version installed. I've only been using it for about ...

Re: G5 doesnt see PCI 424 card
Fixed.
Dont know how or what I did. Just kept reinserting the card and uninstalling then re-installing drivers.
It must be a full moon or something.

Re: G5 doesnt see PCI 424 card
Nice idea, Emu, didn't think the PCIx fit in the old G4. Anyway, popped it into the G4 and what do you know?!?!? It works!!! So it's not a bad card. Put it back in the G5,...NOTHING! I'm properly confused. It does have PCI and not PCI-x printed on the card. Last resort tomorrow I'll take either the ...

Re: G5 doesnt see PCI 424 card
That was my thought!!
He says it was in a Dual 2.5 G5. The pcb board says Rev 3.
