Re: No input from Apollo 8 Thunderbolt to DP 11.32
I have a similar problem. Mic pre out into Apollo, and level showing on Apollo input 3, and on channel 3 in UAD mixer. UAD assigned output to 3. I can also hear the mic fine through UAD into stereo monitors. But, DP does not see the input. The settings for UAD patching are out Thunder 3, and bundles...

Re: Help with Latency Apogee Symphony 64
Hi All,
Thanks for your posts and help. Definitely not monitoring thru DP and Maestro at the same time. The chorusing effect I am getting is due to the 20ms+ delays thru software monitoring.
I will double check all those other DP settings mentioned here.

Re: Help with Latency Apogee Symphony 64
Just to clarify, the reverbs/effects I'm talking about are all outboard and connected the the Digital I/Os of the AD16X-DA16Xs - I don't track with any plugins. Setting up a couple of different headphone feeds using Maestro is also not as easy or fast as using a mixer style GUI, that's why its not m...

Re: Help with Latency Apogee Symphony 64
Hi Thanks for your post. Maestro is fine for recording one instrument dry, but its cumbersome and not a professional solution for tracking. It also does not allow efficient access and control of all the outboard gear and reverbs connected through Apogee's advanced routing. Do you monitor through DP ...

Help with Latency Apogee Symphony 64
Hi MotuNation, I am running DP 7.24 with Apogee Symphony 64 and AD16X and DA16X. At a buffer setting of 64 the delay is substantial enough to cause a chorusing effect in the headphones, and distract live performers. At a buffer setting of 128, it is not possible to record live instruments. The retur...

DAE Error -19 under DP 5.13
I am running DP 5.13 under DAE 7.3.1cs5. Mac G5 Dual 2.5gig with 4 gig RAM. ProTools 192 HD hardware, Sync IO. All my TDM and RTAS plugins work OK in the mixer window. But when I try to process a soundbite with audio plugins, after I click 'apply' the soundbite greys out to start processing, then a ...

Re: Limiting/Loudness: Waves L1 vs. Ozone ?
How many of you out there are using DAE front ends with DP 5.12? I have just discovered Ozone does not function as a TDM plugin anymore - Izotope now only supports Ozone as RTAS for DAE/Tools 7+. Which means no Ozone across your DP mixes via Aux track (unless it's as an RTAS plugin over an audio tra...
