DP 6.0 AU graphic bummers
Upgraded to dp6 a week ago and so far NOT so good. Tons of errors and crashes. Now I'm starting to find a bunch of graphic weirdness with a lot of my favorite AU plugs. First off, the graphic controls on all of the UAD-1 plugs are busted. Very big set back for me, especially since I have a lot of mo...

Me Too!!!!
Yes, I can also back these annoyances up!!! It's been happening in my setups for quite some time. It doesn't seem to matter if you're triggering VIs or Hardware Modules, or if your using a non intel or intel, or if your using a Power Book or Tower. I've tryed on multiple setups!!! There's always bee...

DP5.11 - "freeze Machine"
I've been having this re-accruing problem with dp 5.11. The damn thing keeps freezing (ie. spinning rainbow ball of death). It seem to happen when i'm in loop playback. Didn't have problems with 5.1. Any ideas?

Just Got DP5 and the update. He's right. It doesn't work!!!! It used to work fine in DP4.6!!! This is a huge screw up. I am a Sample Library producer/designer for some of the largest sample companies (ie East West, Native Instruments, Ilio, and Apple). This is an essential feature for me and anyone ...

Re: MIDI Notes Sticking with 4.5
I have been able to isolate my MIDI problems to something very specific. I've noticed that when I'm playing back a MIDI performance, or even when I just playing a module thru DP via patch thru, every so often i get a note that doesn't trigger. While doing some testing I found that this dropped note ...

Re: MIDI Notes Sticking with 4.5
I've ditched my prefs so many times I can't rememmber. It doesn't seem like that's the end all solution. It's gotta be a bad MOTU MIDI Driver. The MTP A/V and The MIDI express use the same MIDI driver in OSX. I think they may be crappy. Has anyone tryed a different MIDI interface by another company?...

Re: MIDI Notes Sticking with 4.5
Here's my setup: MTP AV USB MIDI Express XT USB Motu 2408 (first version) G4 Dual 800 Mhz Quick Silver (Clocking via Panasonic DA-7 Digi Mixer) The only reason I mentioned the audio clock was because MIDI gets its timing from the audio clock. Have you ever played a sequence while starting up your cl...

Re: MIDI Notes Sticking with 4.5
It's seem that sticky notes is a huge problem. I have a similar setup as you Ellios. I'm running about 20 to 30 MIDI tracks and the performance it just flat out crappy. Are you running off an external word clock? I don't know if that makes any difference but I'm just trying to see what the common de...

Re: MIDI Notes Sticking with 4.5
I'm having serious problems as well with MIDI notes sticking with 4.5. One thing I did was use clockworks to filter out everything but "note" and "patch changes". That helped but I still can't go 4 minutes without notes sticking on any of my synths. I also tried deleting my MIDI ...
