I see on the Motu website that DP supports up to pro tools 8.0.2. I wonder if its because I'm running PT 8.0.4?

Every time I switch over to Dae, DP crashes. What am I doing wrong?

The core audio pt driver seems to work ok. It seems finicky though. The only other program i've tested it with is itunes and firefox for playback.

But DP give me that error everytime

The Motu drivers are so stable. I wish DP was the industry standard!

I'm trying to run DP 7 with the Pro tools hd core card as the audio driver. Every time I load dp I get this message.

I've read in previous posts that dp5 could not time stretch muptiple soundbites (using the hand tool). But I'm wondering if it's possible to do it in DP 7. PT Elastic Audio seems to do such a great job of keeping everything in phase, and keeping artifacts to a minimum. I would love it it DP had this...

Am I really the only one having this problem? I checked around, and it looks like some PT users are having the same problem.

Finally worked. I have no idea how, but I have been doing the same thing every time. Maybe deleting prefs is the key.

Just reauthorized dp 7.01 again, and still no luck. I removed 7.02 as well.

Well, that's the fix. I f in FACT you NEVER saved the session in 7.1 then you have some other issues. Try reformatting your HD and reinstalling OS X and then DP... if it don't work then, you have a corrupt session document there. I'd try the LOAD command and just get the session @ least to ground z...
