Best way to bounce individual tracks from a multi-inst.?
Hello all, I just had a general question in regards to bouncing multiple tracks from a single instance of a multi virtual instrument like Stylus RMX. I only have a single instance of Stylus RMX loaded with 8 individual MIDI track sequences triggering all 8 individual channels within Stylus RMX. I wo...

Re: How to bypass Ethno validation in DP 7?
Thanks a lot for the help!
I assume that I will have to disable Ethno during load up until it's snow leopard ready. In the meantime, can I just use Mach Five 2 to load up the Ethno sample files to access its sounds?
Thanks again for any tips!

How to bypass Ethno validation in DP 7?
Hello, I recently have upgraded to snow leopard and DP 7 keeps crashing during load up as soon as it starts to validate the Ethno instrument. Since the crash prevents me from loading up DP and accessing the plugin preferences, is there another way to bypass this Ethno component during load up? Thank...

Re: Broadcast Wave Export vs. Core Audio Wave Export?
Hi, thanks for the feedback. I can't seem to find any specific info in the user guide or getting started manual that explains the essential difference between a broadcast wave export and core audio wave export. Up to this point I've been using mainly broadcast wave as a final bounce format as it aut...

Broadcast Wave Export vs. Core Audio Wave Export?
Hello all,
Does anybody happen to know what specific differences, if any, do either one of these export options have?
Thanks for any insight!

Basics of Work Priority, Buffer, and Pre-fill File Buffers?
Greetings all, I have tried to search the forums, but still am a bit unclear as to what specific functions these settings adjust. In essence, does a high work priority setting mean that DP will utilize as much overall CPU resources as it can from your system? If so, then would you want it to set it ...

Re: Distortion noise during iTunes playback, but none within DP
RnR: I know exactly what you are talking about. Check that the master fader in iTunes (top left corner) is NOT all the way up (all the way to the right). This is adding gain. It should only be at about 3/4 of the way up - there is no mark for unity. I have an output meter on my DAW and you will see...

Re: Distortion noise during iTunes playback, but none within DP
You want to make sure that you are not adding any gain after the MW Limiter. I put it on the last effect insert of the Master Fader and leave the fader at unity gain. What you might want to try is this. Create a new empty DP file and bring the bounced audio back into this file. Does it distort the ...

Distortion noise during iTunes playback, but none within DP
Hello all, Typically, for quick and simple final bounces, I would just merely use a MW limiter on the master bus. Normally, I would just tweak the settings so that I am mildly pushing the overall levels within the MW limiter, as long as I don't hear any distortion or clipping noises. Lately, I have ...

Re: BFD2 export is delayed and out of sync, any tips?
Thanks! After checking different forums with no definitive answer, I guess this might just be some unresolved bug with BFD2. I didn't have this problem with superior drummer. I guess always having to manually nudge the BFD2 bounced tracks back to where it should be starting is a workaround I'm going...

Re: BFD2 export is delayed and out of sync, any tips?
So you manually bus out all individual drum tracks in real time? Is there any particular reason why you prefer not to use BFD2's internal bounce? Did you experience a delayed bounce as well?waxman wrote:I use BFD 2 but track everything in real time. Would you please explain your process you are doing.

Just wondering if anybody has any thoughts or experience with this scenario? I have checked FXpansion's site, but did not come across any definite solutions. Appreciate any feedback!

Re: Any way to hot key a punch in and punch out command?
Hi thanks for your reply! What I actually was referring to was setting the auto punch in and out points (the little red up and down arrows appear as you set both the auto punch in and out points). I usually have to manually click on the word 'in' on the transport window to set the auto punch in poin...
