thanks for the reply phil, but I don't see the option of routing to "Reaktor 1" Insert. I have the insert activated.

To clarify: it is a VI track with an instance of Reaktor 5 FX in insert A. I'm trying to automate parameters in insert A of that track.

I can believe no one has said Reaktor 5 yet. That is by far the most versatile VI out there. Synth, sampler, noise generator, sequencer, the only limits to what it can do are your imagination and cpu (and perhaps math skills, but you can rely on other peoples knowledge).[/b]

MIDI routing into FX insert on virtual inst.

Hi does anyone know how I can route MIDI into an insert on a virtual instrument track? Or how I could route MIDI into an effect insert on an audio track? I want to control a Reaktor 5 effects unit from tracks I've recorded onto. Its a pain in the ass to export recorded material and sample them back ...

Why is it that IBM can make PowerPC chips for the new Xbox that clock at 3.2Ghz whereas in the PowerMacs they can do any better than 2.7?
