Am I the only one seeing popup Google ads on this site? Even ads for other DAWs!

Yes, I'm seeing them as well. On the iOS browser is a tab that gives me some rudimentary control of content. I can only hope James is getting a cut from these.

Not happening in macOS, and appears to have stopped in iOS too.

It's terrible for me, the Google ads at the bottom white flash and bump so bad that I can't read the forum posts. Right now I'm trying to type over an ad for Ashly furniture.. when I scroll to get past it, it refreshes to be where it was. Really frustrating, as I come here for information about my profession.

Still happening here in the US. Also seeing “Ads by Criteo”. I really don't want to burden James with this during his recuperation, so I’m willing to live with these for a while.

Using the Brave browser effectively blocks them.

Seeing this too :( Seems like James would have said something to us before he implemented this, so I'm guessing it's a hack.

I wondered about that. But I'm not seeing it on the Mac using an old OS version.

I've been running an ad-blocker for years-- however, I had always white-listed MN and clicked the SW banner for support. Still, not seeing any ads here.

(I've not found an ad-blocker that works for YouTube, yet.)

I’m seeing them in Safari and Chrome over the current iPadOS and in Chrome on my Mac.

I assume you’re talking about the Mac. I don’t see the ads there either. In fact, right now, on ipad os 15, I’m not seeing the right now either. They seem to come and go.

I recently installed an ad blocker extension on my iPad (now that Safari extensions are supported) and I don't see any ads on the iOS Safari at the moment.

Today's the first for me on my iPad — current iPadOS.
