Only very recently i have been saving XML files created in Mac Band-in-a-Box® 2017 for sharing with other Mac Band-in-a-Box® users.
I have not used the importing feature in Digital Performer of OMF/AAF and Final cut Pro 7 XML ( although i do have that programme )because i do not fully understand how or what i should do. And when i try just end up in frustration with nothing to show for the time spent.
How do i import an XML file in Mac Digital Performer 9.51 ?

Re: Importing XML files
You can’t. DP 9 exports only. I am hoping that import gets added to DP 10.midiw wrote:...

You can export MusicXML to Logic Pro X, then export those tracks as audio and MIDI in a way that DP can use.

Re: Importing XML files
Thank you for taking time to read and respond to my question.
Also, thank you for the information/confirmation that DP 9 can not import XML files .
I will use your work around solution/suggestion using Logic Pro X .

Re: Importing XML files
It’s a bit of a kludge but works if you aren’t too ambitious.
I found it easier to export audio and MIDI depending on the track, then building it up in DP. I have BIAB 2017 Audiophile.
