Deleting all automation at once
Hello,
I tried searching, sorry if it's been asked.
I've been getting a lot of MIDIs from Sib and Finale, to sequence them with better libraries.
Getting rid of all the pan, expression, mod and other cc data takes a lot of time for 25-30 tracks...I've been using the quick filter and zooming out, but it's tedious.
Is there a way to select ALL automation at once and trash it?

Re: Deleting all automation at once
Try the Search function. A well constructed search can show all the automation events in an Event window.

Another approach would be to use the View Filter and show only what you want to delete. Make a complete time-range selection. Delete the stuff. Return to your preferred View Filter settings.
Done.
Done.

Re: Deleting all automation at once
I would start a new mix (bottom mini-menu in mixer window).
This way would keep your older mix, just in case, or for reference.

A new mix would work. Didn't think of that. Yet another way to do it: Put the wiper at 1/0/0, set everything (levels, etc) where you want them for the start of the song, and do a snapshot for all tracks to the end of the sequence. That will take the initial settings, and extend them over the entire length of the song, essentially removing all automation parameter changes.

Since asking, this is what I've been doin' as per advice above:
1. Ctrl + F (opens View Filters window)
2. Uncheck "Notes"
3. Delete everything that's left in the tracks window
4. Check Notes, close the V.F. window...DONE!
Takes 10 sec.
