Re: Happy Birthday to HCMarkus!
My goodness gents! I am deeply honored that my birthday has been acknowledged by two of the Nation's most respected community members. Thank you kindly. Though I'm afraid the day, like yesterday, is to be consumed largely in wrapping up a score, having a birthday nestled within the always-busy-for-musicians holiday season means I'm used to it. At least I have a very well-behaved DP to work with. I'm really digging a 256 buffer in 6.02. My Tiger-running, aging, G5 Quad feels powerful, boundaries are over the horizon, and latency is not an issue. Whee! And when I finish this job, I'm gonna' get me DP7!
Seeing how Frodo somehow manages to make his generous presence known here at the Nation even while (if I recall correctly) traveling far from the Shire, I would be remiss if I failed to mention his birthday as well. HBD and Godspeed, Good Hobbit. I can't remember if your day was/is yesterday or tomorrow, but will definitely manage to think well of you both days.
And may all here at the Nation enjoy a good laugh on this Happy Mirthday!

Life can be strange at times, but I gotta say that this place has brought together some really great people who have made and continue to make my life a lot more bearable.
HC-- hope you find a least a moment to blow out a candle or two (but no more than that!).

Re: Happy Birthday to HCMarkus!
A good Birthday. I had a lovely dinner with the Mrs., followed by chocolate cake, and I managed to blow out all SIX (that's 5+1) candles in one wheeze. And I finished up hour two and delivered to the editor. Well, I'm sure there will be some tidying up to do, but that will just have to take place on another day.
Oh yes, I just placed my DP7 order. Happy birthday to me!

And here you are up before dawn! Sounds to me that you still have plenty of youth in you yet!HCMarkus wrote: And I finished up hour two and delivered to the editor. Well, I'm sure there will be some tidying up to do, but that will just have to take place on another day.
