Broadcast WAV supports timestamping and is the current "industry standard." I don't think Logic supported the broadcast wav format in 2004, but it does now.

I guess it pays to have deep pockets when you write DAW's. Logic supports and DP does not.

I would like to hear from Grimpatch on what technical reasons MOTU would have against this update.

He's seems to understand writing code well.

Just use the archive function in OSX and turn it into a .zip file first. The extra benefit is that if you have long stretches of digital silence in an audio file (so that later parts align properly), they get compressed down to nothing.

Yes I do that currently plus keep my files merged from the top of tune as much as possible.

I just want compatible formats. I use DP for everything currently and would love to know that if I lease a master I can send it on pain free to any system out there Mac or PC.
