CME UF series master keyboard with DP

Post by Matcher »

I'm about to get an UF series keyboard, the 88 key version with hammer action or the 61 key version. Has anybody used the UF series with DP? I mean stuff like the faders and knobs to control the mixer or DP 5's VIs and keys to tap tempo to conductor etc? I'd like to be certain that the drivers are up to date and the keyboard is fully functional with DP.

Thanks

Matcher, there was a recent thread HERE which may be of interest. I think there were/ are some issues with it, at least with the transport keys.

HTH! :)

CME Controller

Post by forjam »

I have the 88 key version. It's a piece of crap. The hammer action in rough and uneven at times and the key travel is weird. I have owned a lot of controllers and this is the worst yet. Give me an old Yamaha KX88 anytime. Also the faders and knobs had to be reprogrammed when I would change their parameters for real time controllers. The transport keys also don't work. I have DP 5.1, PT 7.2 HD, and Logic Pro 7 and the transport doesn't work with any of them. BEWARE!

Yeah, I read enough crap about it pretty soon, I'm getting Novation remote SL now. I hope some users would post in my Novation thread! 8)
