Be forewarned about Xtreme FX 2. There are some missing samples in three of the instruments. I've reported this to UVI.
So far I found the following instruments have missing samples:

Yeah, I did as well and got a reply that they are aware of it and will put out an update at some point. The workaround that said was to open those instruments from within the instrument’s GUI itself instead of Falcon is UVI Workstation.

Kind of difficult to believe it got out that way.
Who do they think they are — Microsoft or Apple?
Hahaha... reminds me of a joke.
People are traveling in a helicopter to SETAC airport. It's very foggy and they become lost. The helicopter pilot hovers near the window of a very tall building and thought the window he sees office workers in cubicles. He writes "WHERE ARE WE?" on his clipboard and holds it up, eventually one of the workers at the desk notices the helicopter and see the sign. He quickly writes his own sign and holds it up. It says "YOU ARE IN A HELICOPTER!"
With that, the pilot nods knowingly and turns and heads straight to the airport and lands safely. The passenger in the helicopter says to the pilot, "How did you know which direction to go?" He said, "Well, that had to be Microsoft tech support. They told me something that was technically correct but totally useless."
Dammit... what the hell, UVI? I just installed the updated Xtreme FX 2 that's supposed to fix the missing samples and I get this crap again when I attempt to load Activities > Sports from the Falcon interface:

I'm going to try delete the UFS completely and doing a totally new reinstall. If that doesn't fix it, I guess it's another annoyed message to UVI. Yeesh.

OMG! Seriously? I just deleted the Xtreme FX 2.ufs file completely off my Sample Library drive then installed the "updated" version from scratch. Still get samples missing dialog.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME, UVI? THIRD TIME MIGHT BE THE CHARM, HUH?

Given B-word's track record (generally, and specifically with software), that'll be a hard pass from me.
Fortunately, there isn't anything on offer there that I don't already have covered better with other free VI's.
Still, thanks for linking it. Might be just the right thing for someone.
It's a remarkably mediocre synth... you're right about that. I still couldn't help myself and made NKS support files for it which are attached to this message. Unzip and it's self explanatory. I should add there are no audio previews and I didn't do any tagging. But you can still load patches from Komplete Kontrol keyboards and mark as favorites. (That may not happen!)
This is iZotope's normal way of announcing that RX11 will be released soon.
Since I have everything iZotope already, I'll be watching the usual barrage of bundle and upgrade announcements to try to navigate my way to the best deal on the RX11 Advanced upgrade, hopefully with the full version of Trash bundled in (the current free version of Trash is quite good).
DP 11.31; 828mkII FW, micro lite, M4, MTP/AV USB Firmware 2.0.1 2023 Mac Studio M2 8TB, 192GB RAM, OS Sonoma 14.5 b4, USB4 8TB external, M-Audio AIR 192|14, Mackie ProFxv3 6/10/12; 2012 MBPs Catalina, Mojave IK-NI-Izotope-PSP-Garritan-Antares, LogicPro X, Finale 27.4, Dorico 5.2, Notion 6, Overture 5, TwistedWave, DSP-Q 5, SmartScore64 Pro, Toast 20 Pro
And also, for what it's worth I'm wondering why "Transportation > Horns" doesn't contain any actual horn sounds?
Hallelujah! By the third try... version 1.0.2... UVI got it right. They fixed the missing samples and now the Horns instrument actually has horns! There ya go, UVI! I knew you could do it!

I just saw that, because I have RX Post Production Suite 7.5, I will get RX 11 Advanced at no charge when it ships next month.
iZotope's dirty little not-so-secret is that they have no way of being able to tell if you have a qualifying bundle when buying upgrades. Native Instruments allows this to be discussed on their chat boards so I have no problem mentioning it here.
The reason I mention it is because this just posted at guitarcenter.com and a similar listing at MusiciansFriend. $149 and you'll get EX 11 Advanced when it ships.
