How cool would it be if QS had basic drum and percussion notation?
There is a wormhole path that I discovered that involves the Articulation Map Setup window.
In the Symbols section of the Setup window is a collection of Note Heads. An articulation map with a symbol can be assigned to MIDI drum notes. The map also needs to include a transposition value. For example, the C1, D1, and F#1 that appear in bass clef in QS need to be nudged up in the MIDI editor so that they display as GM drum notes in QS. The transpose value in the articulation map allows the notes to sound at the correct pitch.
MIDI editor nudge values
Kick/C1 - up 9 semitones
Snare/D1 - up 14
HH closed/F#1 - up 17
Articulation Map Output Transpose values
Kick (- 9)
Snare (-14)
HH closed (-17)
HH open (-15)
If the drum kit notes have been split to separate tracks, the Remap button will apply the symbol to all notes in that track. On the other hand, if the drum kit notes are on the same track, then the articulation needs to be applied one note at a time.

A feature request has been sent to MOTU for their consideration: Make drum and percussion notation in QuickScribe as seamless as changing the type of staff from treble to bass or alto. Drum and percussion note heads now appear in QS via articulation maps. The process needs some love to make it a breeze for the end user.
Please consider making this request as well.
