Hi and good day to all,
Is it possible to use the Mk3 hybrid with USB and the Mk3 with firewire at the same time? Im using mac and cubase
Normally I would just try it but..................just in case better to ask first

Hi Mike, I have been using the interfaces both with firewire with the mac on aggregate, it works no problem
However I wondered if i can use the mk3 hybrid with USB and the mk3 on firewire if there would be some sort of conflict?

Indeedy do! I'm still eyeing that item on CL I sent you. Although I don't really think I need any pres. Not sure if I want to go down the rabbit hole of trying to record real drums myself. That would take a lot of time learning to do it right... not to mention more investment in microphones.

I have been using a MOTU 828 Mk3 and a MOTU 828 Mk3 Hybrid as an aggregate device to connect 2 O2r's. The Mk3 has been my main buddy since I'v had it longer, and the Hybrid only works when connected from the USB port. I'm going to add another Mk3, as the Cue Mix quit on me over the weekend. May be time to look at the 828es.
