For example, you can select ALL of your tracks to transpose, but not have to de-select the drum, non-pitched percussion or "utility" (triggers/keyswitches, etc) tracks.

Re: DP11 is here!
There's enough in this update for my workflow on my cMP that I'll have made back that much $ in a week in time savings alone. As a person whose livelihood is organized around their DAW that amount of money is inconsequential. It’s just the cost of doing business.James Steele wrote: ↑Wed Jul 07, 2021 9:15 pmmacnylonguitar wrote:Good luck with that. You mentioned some things that were worse for workflow and very problematic in Logic. Is saving $195 worth hours of productivity lost?I don't see $200 worth an upgrade in DP 11, I think the ride could be over. Bite the bullet and Logic Pro time...

I wonder how it is possible that in 2021 a professional DAW does not have slurs in the score view!stubbsonic wrote: ↑Tue Jul 06, 2021 10:06 am This looks like a great and worthy upgrade.
I noticed slur lines are still absent from the articulations options, but this is still a welcome addition. I hope the tie-lines display properly now (they often appear as single pixel lines, or are so short/small as to be invisible).
Great to see MPE and per-note controls (poly AT) done in an elegant way.
Perhaps with the Control Surface additions, the iOS Avid Control app might become a workable remote solution (?)
I try every version and couldn't switch to DP for this and other amazing shortcomings!
There are a lot of complex new features in every update and those basic and simple things are absent!
This drives me crazy!

Re: DP11 is here!
Just for the record, are there DAW's that DO have slur lines in their notation windows? I still own Logic and Cubase (I never use that one), but sold StudioOne. I find Logic so confusing that I only dip into it for Alchemy, and for my custom MIDI macros that do things that unfortunately aren't possible in DP (apparently still in DP11). It's been a long time since I have thoroughly explored notation outside of DP, Finale, and Doritos.

Re: DP11 is here!
Hi,
I tried to install UVI Workstation, but then it failed to start from DP (UVI says it's not compatible with Mac Silicon).
I then installed again DP11 and then UVI Workstation works (at least starts).
So is a compatible UVI Workstation AU plug-in is bundled with the DP installer? (Well it seems unstable as I get occasional rendering error messages)
Other thing I'd like to understand is can Apple silicon DP11 load x86 plugins -> the answer is yes, and it may be a service provided by MacOS as I see a AUHostingCompatibilityService (Digital Performer) in activity viewer.

Re: DP11 is here!
Just throwing this out there again; with the EuCon and Mackie updates in DP11, is there an app for iPad or iPhone that would work with DP now?
Re: DP11 is here!
avid's Eucon control app worked years ago in DP, I dont see why it shouldn't now. Not something I use with an artist control sitting in front of me, but it should be fine. getting your hands on the eucon software without owning a eucon controller might be hard.
Re: DP11 is here!
Just below this topic, there's a long topic on DP Control mentioning every conceivable iOS app that might do this. The irony is that until today, it had more replies than this one.

Re: DP11 is here!
I too have been waiting for implementation of slur lines. I don't even need them to "do" anything. Just anchor this shape's front and end to the respective note heads, for horizontal position, and remember the heights, relative to the staff. Perhaps it is easier said than done.
Go get Avid Control (it's free) and try it.

Is there a nice list of fixes and 'improvements on the installer as usual? If so, can someone please post it.

Re: DP11 is here!
My only issue thus far is that I opened my most recent (March 2021) DP10 template file from my last film (which I had to use the file>load command along with the chunk’s bundles selected, which also has a LOT of bussing and routing as well as extensive VEPro7 use)…and A LOT of my busing were miss-routed when DP11 finished loading the chunk. It is like DP11 selected random bus assignments from what they were in the DP 10 file and not the routings from the file or bundles. It took me about 4-5 hours to sort out and re-direct buses to be routed properly last night. There were a LOT of feedback loop errors from the way DP loaded the file. Once that was done and corrected, it looks like it is back to functional again for me. Today I have started loading in some expression/articulation maps from sample library developers. That so far has been smooth.
Next test is to see if they function as expected.
