I'm looking to run one 828x from one TB port and another 828x from the second TB port. This gets me 20 channels of i/o There is some thought that i should instead run only one from TB and strap the other to it via optical. This gets me only 18 channels.
Anyone doing either of these? I'm more interested in the first way so i can get 4 more channels out of an alexis AI-3 at 96k
identical 828x interfaces - one on each TB port. issues?
