How to record "what you hear" with ultralite
I have two instances of FLstudio playing I want to record them both simaltaneously into wavelab/audition/whatever basically the equivelant of "record what you hear" - how can this be done with the ultralite ? Im using windows 7.

The UltraLite-mk3 Hybrid does have a virtual "Return" input that can be used to accomplish this. You can assign this to mirror any output pair on the UltraLite in MOTU Audio Console (check the Return Assign pull-down).
In this case, you can set both FL Studio instances to playback through Main Out 1-2, and set Return Assign to Main Out 1-2 as well. Now, if you choose the Return input in your recording software (Audition, Wavelab etc...) you may record the output from both instances.
Just make sure that you do not set your recording track to also output to Main Out 1-2, otherwise you will get a feedback loop!
