Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know how to set dp7 meters to sectional dB-Linear as opposed to exponential. Thanks.

Bump...still looking for an answer to this. Anyway to change the metering in dp7 to linear?

Can you call MOTU or setup a tech link? They're there for all registered owners of the program, just waiting for your call.

Mac Mini Server i7 2.66 GHs/16 GB RAM / OSX 10.14 / DP 9.52
Tascam DM-24, MOTU Track 16, all Spectrasonics' stuff,
Vienna Instruments SUPER PACKAGE, Waves Mercury, slaved iMac and Mac Minis running VEP 7, etc.

I guess in this case the answer doesn't want to be found... not even after almost a full year! :smash:

But we'all ain't laughin', especially when our suggestions to actually contact MOTU seem to fall on deaf ears. Do you have a problem with that? Or are you just ignoring the actual suggestion that will give you a definitive answer?

We're a tough audience. Lovable, but tough as nails in such matters.

agreed it is puzzling,if I had a question that couldn't be answered in almost a year,why not make a quick call to MOTU?

I don't find it puzzling in the least. If he is a registered user and hasn't taken the time to contact MOTU, I'm not about to contribute to the "slothiness." If he's not a registered user...
