Symphonic Instrument and 828MkII

I'm curious if Symphinc Instrument (and Mach 5) will recognize the 828 MkII as an output device. (I'm assuming that the 828 will give me a higher quality signal than my dual 1.8 G5.)

Quick answer, yes, the MSI will see the 828 as an output device. As for the quality issue, (I assume you are currently using the Mac's own output) I would imagine there might be a slight increase in sound quality - but this would be due to the D/A converters, not a specific MSI (and Mach 5) issue.
