Publication perimission?

Hi,

Anyone know of a good resource on how to get permsision in publishing previously released tracks? Most of the tracks on my compilation are somewhat obscure dance records.

Any help in this area would be great.

That would require two licenses: one from the record company and another from the song publisher.

Are you using samples from these tracks in your songs?

Actually I'm using mostly whole tracks and then parts of others.
