I tried to get onto bitheadz website and no site. Anybody have any info why and when they left planet earth??

They ran out of business about 3-4 months ago IIRC. No explanation... Maybe that's because Unity was awfully designed and it never worked properly... Just a guess though... :eek:

...but still, it's sad to see they're gone... I think the problems started with Unity Session, and the OSX port...

I had (have) Unity Session, and loved the sounds you get from it.
You reeeealy had to get used to the awful interface
though.
I've gone over to Tassman and never looked back.
A 2018 Mac mini with 16 gb of ram

i wish we could import the unity sounds into mach five. unfortunately, theres no .uty extension on uvi extract

Got to agree with complaints about the Unity interface. But the Unity Engine was actually quite a bit more powerful than Mach5. You could set up just about any sort of modulation you wanted to. In that sense, Mach5 is a big step backwards. But Bitheadz is gone, so whatchagonnado?
Chicken Systems is working on a translator for Unity. The Windoze version is shipping already. The Mac version has been promised for a while, but hasn't shipped yet. Hope it works. I've got a big library to recover.
