Cannot run MSI on Vista 64 bit

Post by stlove90 »

Hi guys, I'm on a desperate quest for any help... I just bought a new quad core vista 64 bit and I cannot install the symphonic instrument...
I registered the Ilok key, installed the driver etc. Everything was working fine with my old PC but now, whenever I click on the launch icon, it says : " This software could not find the required user interface DLL. please reinstall the software and try again ".

HELP ME!!!

Finnaly! I got MSI to work as a stand alone but... I install the VST file on the VST pluggin file of cubase but when I open Cubase, it don't see that I've installed the pluggin.

Bottom line, Cubase don't see the MSI pluggin so I can't open it!

So can someone tell me which file goes where?

I have the same problem with Vista 32 bit : MSI run only as standalone, not in VST. I tried with different soft like Ableton Live or Acid.
I use a recent laptop Sony.

old thread, new guy here.. I had the same trouble with msi in sonar using vista 64 bit. Motu has a 64 bit driver just for the program, once I downloaded it and installed it, it worked.
