Any of you noticed an improvement when recording single coil electric guitars? The flat screen tend to produce less 50 Hz hum than the LCD?

I went to lunch in the mall one day and saw the 30" Apple LCD... I ended up going home with it (and this MONSTER video card to go with) - it's like 2880x1920 or some sick S@*# like that.

ANYWAY... went to the mall again the other day - they're like... you know you can drive TWO of those monitors with that card...

The single 30" is cooler than I can say - I haven't got over the "Whoa!" factor of it, but I'm thinking about 2...

We live in a sick age!

I have 2 15" LCDs I bought 3 years ago, and I have never looked back. I love having DP on one screen and having Reason on another, I wish I could have a 3rd but that seems like overkill. I may just use my 27" LCD TV I bought the day after Thanksgiving for $900. But I have to traqnsfer all of my G4 Dual 800 files and UAD card to my new G5 Dual 1.8.

Explain (for my feeble brain) how i would use an LCD tv as a monitor? Do i need an extra card? converter?

I always check dealmac.com almost every day. I got 2 17" Sharp flat panels for $230 each and they just rock (at least for me). Great place to shop around for hard drive specials also. Deal Mac
