MIDI Problem
Hi. Can anybody help me?
I don´t know how to import/export MIDI files from one session to another session?
Thanks a lot!

Re: MIDI Problem
Select "Save As" and you'll see a file-type field. Select SMF and if necessary tweak the window that follows (you'll have to hit the "Save" button first though, I think). FWIW, I'd go with the defaults.
Another option would be to use clippings, but you knew that from reading the manual, right? Yet another option would be to highlight the tracks concerned and command-drag them to the desktop. This supposedly creates a MIDI file, but the Finder, at least in my case, won't play it in 10.5.5 from 6.01. I'd expect DP to be able to accept it though.

Re: MIDI Problem
You're welcome, diegus.
FWIW, a task as specific as this one can easily be found in the index of the manual, so next time you might want to see if you can look it up first. It'll mean a possible 2-minute solution as opposed to the likely 24-hour turnaround you'll get here.
Glad it's sorted, man.

Re: MIDI Problem
Simply drag the chunk's icon in the chunk window to the desktop WHILE HOLDING CMD KEY. Make sure all your tracks are unmuted

Wow - Dwetmaster - I hadn't tried that one before. Very cool and very easy - thanks for that tip.
