Re: PayPal - Upgrade MachFive 2 -> 3

I’d buy Falcon too, but frankly, M5 does everything I need and I have a large custom library that would have to port over. PITA, so no. I also use the M5 instruments often.

Re: PayPal - Upgrade MachFive 2 -> 3

MachFive has been dead in the water for years. If I had to upgrade now I’d look into a crossgrade to Falcon. I have M5 - 3 and it works fine but I’m looking at Falcon (basically the same app in many ways) just to keep up with current trends.

Re: Just lost a gig to a NY guy who charges $50 per minute…

There’s a lot to unpack there, FM, but as I see it there’s one key element. The sketchy director. Rule #1: don’t work with morons. Easier said than done, but if I don’t know the client I ask for a non refundable deposit of half in advance. No conceptual discussions of any depth, or specific ideas re...

Movie Window Mini menu missing- SOLVED!

After many weeks of searching, tearing of limbs, removal of hair and cursing the ancestry of every unicorn that ever lived, I found the conflict that was causing the movie mini and dropdown menus to disappear. I removed every last thing that could be causing the problem. Rewire, Zoom, Jamkazan, OBS,...

Re: Can't access the Movie window mini-menu... [RESOLVED]

My message to MOTU this morning... not very promising: Things are worse than I thought. Not only can I not access the movie dropdown, I also cannot resize the movie window, nor can I replace the movie in a file (project). The only partial workaround is to delete the movie file and force DP to ask me...

Re: Track Folder Problems

I have seen this several times and EVERY TIME is was user error. Not carefully selecting the proper choice in the dropdown.

I'm not saying that you guys are having the same issue, but again, I have seen it quite a few times and it is ALWAYS user error.

Just sayin'

I agree, it's stupid that this bug remains, but it does and the only solution is to not sleep the machine. Just one of those things...

Re: Sleep/Restart Mojave bug?

Can you explain what the "sleep/restart" bug is? If you mean you have to restart the Mac to get out of sleep, that's a long time bug. The only solution is DO NOT SLEEP YOUR MAC. If it's something else, let us know.
