If the files all start at the same time, which I suspect if it's just a tranfer from tape, and nothing else is done in ProTools. It seems like the easiest way would be to just import the raw audiofiles into DP. And if you're on line for DP6 no convertion there is necessary. If you have no plans to ...

Hardly ever use GB, so had never tried my Ethno in it; but just did, out of interest, and GB seems quite happy with it. But as carrythebanner said, GB doesn't allow for multiple MIDI inputs to one VI instance, and your reference to multiple outputs really amounts to the same thing; Ethno doesn't req...

If anyone else has this problem I hope this helps. Solution: In Digital Performer, after you have recorded audio and rendered in Melodyne, Each track that has the original audio should have the corresponding track from the Melodyne mixer selected and... here is the most important in DP, the track s...

Check out 'LAConvolver' (which is FreeWare) : http://audio.lernvall.com It's very basic, and you have to hunt down your own impulse responses (there are lots of freebies out there), but it's very clean, stable, and did I mention FREE ! It's happily saved my Visa from having to stretch for Altiverb w...

Even when My playback is red, when I hit play in DP, the vertical lin between the arrows stays black and It says waiting for audio? I think the vertical arrow should grey out on playback in order to hear melodyne audio playing back through DP? Yup, vertical arrow should definitely be greyed out and...

Just to start ruling out obvious things (and bearing in mind, we're on different hardware, different version of Bridge, and I'm using Cre8 not Studio (and I've never tried the new PlugIn version) ... Is the Bridge AU window for a given Melodyne 'transferred' track showing the line/arrow for the retu...

FWIW, Melodyne Cre8 3.1.1.2, Bridge AU 3.1.1.2, DP 5.01, OSX 10.4.11, no problems with Bridge here. ReWire definitely NOT required. Insert Bridge AU on required track, open Melodyne, make a new arrangement, choose Melodyne track to 'Connect to' in Bridge, set DP to cycle play required (or all) bars,...

This MacMini does not have audio input . You will need a firewire or usb audio interface . Sorry . Aramis Thanks Aramis, good to know. Any suggestions? Or should I just go the Apple route? Absynth3 certainly worked fine for me on PPC, and haven't come across any posts relating to A3/Intel on the NI forums. I'm using Absynth 4 now. Never had any real problems with any of my NI plugs in DP; only issue outstanding is that some of the newer NI releases (last 18 months or so) seem to have ...

You can always have a play around with 'LAConvolver' (which is FREE :) (donations invited)) whilst we're waiting for DP6: http://audio.lernvall.com It's pretty bare bones, but to my (currently) demo-level ears it doesn't sound a million miles away from the Altiverb demo I've played around with, and ...

I'm quite the Newbie here, and only really semi-pro at the moment (my in depth knowledge went south quite a few years ago!), but I too have a dual 2.7 (also 2.5gb, and also on 10.4.11), and first off, the dual 2.7s are renowned for having pain in the arse fan handling - most of us switch Preferences...
