I'm thinking about getting this, and was wondering a couple of things, I need to use it both on my G5 & my laptop, (not simultaneously) is it a processor hog & does it's license allow you (a single user) to use it on 2 computers?
Thanks.

From what I remember asking them, I think you are allowed. I have mine installed on a PowerMac and a PC. But since my stupid Windows PC crashed and burned, I blew it away and reformatted the drive.
On the Spectrasonics site, this is what it says.

the standard license to use Stylus is only granted to the buyer. We have a "single user/multiple computer" lifetime license policy.

that's cool about the license - how well does it run on a g4 1.3Ghz?

You can install it on several different computers (I believe the above link covers all that info.). I've been using RMX on a G5, and it's worked great. I recently installed it on a G4 iBook 1.33 ghz. It takes about 10-15 seconds to load, but everything I've done with it so far has been relatively responsive. After you get the drums you like, the best thing to do is record them and close the version of RMX to free up processing power. It's a very powerful program.
