I just got MSI and I was wondering if I can use my ilok from Mach Five instead of having both MSI ilok and MAch Five ilok in my computer. Can someone help me find that out. THanks.

You can do this by going to iLok.com and moving the authorizations from one iLok to another.

Be VERY VERY CAREFUL in doing this. I recommend you KEEP the other iLok (safely hidden so you don't confuse them). Only months later (since I use the products rarely) I find that somehow my authorisations are now marked on the other iLok, apparantly because I did a "synchronise" on that iLok (thinking I was verifying that it was now empty) within a two week window of doing the consolidation onto the other iLok. I recommend you PRINT OUT several pages from iLok's site and cross-reference them before finalising your actions. Only when my iLok stopped working did I discover some fine print on their website about the reversion criteria. At that point (I just found this out today), you have to pay MOTU $40 apiece for new iLoks for each product. They do not have a policy of contacting iLok.com with authorisations.

I did combine my Mach5 and SI ilocks. It was easy to do and is working great. I did put the original SI ilock in a safe place.

Peace
