I have just installed a new PC computer and before proceeding to the MOTU installation i would like to know if i can use one available PCI Express slot in my MotherBoard to install the PCI424.

I have tried Search in the Forum and have tried Support in Motu's website but the topic doesn't seem to have been addressed.
Suggestions? Tips?

Thankyou!

I believe the 424 is not compatible with PCIe, only PCI & PCI-X.

Confirmed. A 424 will definitely not fit in a PCIe slot.

Thank's for your help!
In fact, PCI424 seems to fit properly in a PCIe slot but it appears that voltage at a PCIe slot is higher than adequate for a regular PCI card such as PCI424.

I did install it in one of the PCI slots and everything is working (and sounding) smooth.
Thankyou!

Did you say the motu 424 card WILL fit into a PCIe slot? I tried with no luck...

Well I believe there are 4 different sized PCIe slots out right now..

I wouldnt go sticking a PCI-424 in one though regardless of whether it fits and seeing what happens..

Its a PCI card, NOT PCI-express and youre gonna damage something.
