What are the benefits of having a dual processor G4 or G5?
I've never really understood the benefits of having dual processor Mac.

Efficiency. Example a Dual 450 G4 is more efficient than a single 933 Mhz G4.
Tasks are split between 2 brains instead of one. Basically

I have a dual 1.25 GHz G4 and what I find strange is that when I have a "printing" job in progress my other applications such as DP just crawl. ( Running TIGER )
Are the dual G5's the same?
