Mach 5 Freezing Dp on start up!! HELP
I have just upgraded to Tiger and I am running DP 4.6 with Mach 5 1.2.3 and when I go to open DP it gets stuck on the pinwheel. Any suggestions.

What's your computer, how much ram do you have, have you
updated youir audio interfaces (what is your interface?) drivers to the
latest ones, did you repair permissions on your computer after you
installed DP 4.6 and MachFive 1.2.3?

I am running a dual 2 ghz G5 with 1 gig of ram. I have an HD 192 and a 2408. I haven't tried repairing permissions yet. How do you go about doing that? Everything woked fine on my old system drive so I am confused. Thanks for your help.

Reapiring permissions is something worth getting into the habit of doing.
Open your Utilities folder and Then open Disk Utility There's a button for
repairing Disk permissions on your system folder.
That's really all there is to it.
You might also want to consider getting a utility program like disk Warrior.

1. Repair Permissions
2. Trash Machfive preferences
3. Reinstall Machfive
