LP32 alternatives?

After almost three months of waiting, I just got the dreaded email from Adorama that my LP32 order has been cancelled because the product is discontinued. So at this point, I'm starting to look for alternatives. My requirements are:

1. Minimum four ADAT inputs (16 channels at 96 kHz)
2. Minimum four ADAT outputs (16 channels at 96 kHz)
3. AVB (*not* Dante — DVC is limited to 32 channels at 96 kHz, and I want more flexibility than that, and I refuse to consider subscription software like their Pro DVC)

Any ideas? I thought about the M64, but I can't find a way to convert ADAT to MADI, and the M64 also appears to be unavailable everywhere.

No AVB but these can be used as expanders.

You’ll probably have to check the manual to see if this Klark Technique unit supports 96k ADAT

Same with the RME Digiface

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detai ... -interface

Digiface USB does 16@24/96khz and 8@24/192khz, I'd assume the rest of the lot with ADAT I/O would do the same. That's the only one with 4 ADAT I/O though. They have a couple of MADIFace interfaces but those get up there price wise.

The problem with the Digiface is that it is just ADAT. My intent was to use a MOTU Stage B16 on top of that, which means anything that isn't Thunderbolt with AVB is a non-starter.

After another four-month wait, Sweetwater is now also saying that it is discontinued. [redacted swearing]

I think I'm about to give up on MOTU.

Why does it have to be Thunderbolt? The MOTU Stage B16 is USB 2 and Ethernet.

I do have an M64 that I used for literally 2 days a few years ago. I ended up with non-USB solution. If you wanted a like-new M64, I would give it to you for a steal.

If you want a way to get MADI to ADAT, you could use the Ferrofish A-32 Pro, or their other offerings. I have one and they're very high quality, but expensive.

Neither, it's not posted for sale anywhere. You just reminded me that I still have it in its box back in the machine room.
