Melodyne suddenly reporting authorization conflict

Put an instance of Melodyne 5 editor plugin on a track I wanted to tune today. Got this message:

"To use Melodyne, please deactivate it on a second computer that is using it."

Then I got taken to Celemony's website, where I was asked to login, then I see another message saying please deactivate Melodyne on my I-Mac..which is weird because I never authorized it on my I-Mac. I went ahead and clicked on "Deactivate" my I-Mac, then my browser froze and I had to quit, and now Celemony's website is not loading.

Now I cannot launch an instance of Melodyne in DP at all..just get the beach ball.

Anyone else experienced a problem like this recently?

When I updated Melodyn to the latest version yesterday, it failed initial DP VST Scan. I re-scanned, and all looks well, but I haven't actually USED it in a project as yet.

Live show this evening, but I'll try to test further in the next few days. Others will probably beat me to it.

Melodyne received an update a few days ago.

If you have an older version, launching Melodyne is supposed to open a web page giving you the opportunity to do the update before continuing. You can update or cancel. Drove me nuts till I figured that out.

I'm wondering if you have encountered a glitch in that process.

Well, the Ceremony website is still down as of 8:16 PST. I cannot get Melodyne to instantiate on a track.

Guess this will have to sort itself out, hopefully their website will be back up soon and I can open a support ticket.

Melodyne website JUST came back online about 1pm today (12-20). As usual, I launched an instance of Melodyne in DP, got the "please activate" message, clicked on that, took me to the website, I logged in, selected "Activate" for my Mac Pro, and was successful.

Man..what a mess.

It confused me this time. Melodyne had been stuttering a bit and the update process did seem a bit convoluted. It seems better after the update.
