Themes Question (custom themes package contents) for Large Counter Window

Hi!

I have dealt for a long time with the enormous amount of blank space in the Large Counter window before the first digit.

I use it with picture when I am conducting so I can see a big bars/beats readout on the screen superimposed over picture.

Unfortunately there is blank space built into the window GUI for about an extra unused four digits even if you are getting into thousands of measures, so you can't have a nice somewhat compact centered bars/beats readout.

I was thinking about this...is there a way, getting into the custom themes package contents, to change the actual window size of the Large Counter to maybe get rid all of that blank space?

Thanks!

Good question. I've spent a little time working on themes and haven't found anything that I could get at that would customize the counter window size.

This would be a question for MOTU tech support. My guess is that window content is hard-coded, but you never know.

Hi thanks so much for the answer!

I had a feeling that was the problem, so I think I'm stuck with that.

Still...having the ability to do this at all is so terrific I really should not be complaining???!!!

The fact that DP can output to HDMI, with a counter too instead of just timecode, and at any resolution, has been so nice on sessions.

And at least I can easily hide the much more annoying "ticks" portion of the counter off-screen.

Hey thanks again for the reply!
