Latest MOTU Pro Audio driver with 828es and MIDI issues with older gear.

I've noticed that since the last Pro Audio driver update, I'm getting memory corruption in an old Ensoniq DP/2 when sending sysex data from the 828es. Had no issues before. If I slow the sysex data transfer by half using the sysex app, I can send data without corruption.

Something seems to have changed with MIDI in the latest Pro Audio update.

Confirmed it's the 828es MIDI. Can't transfer sysex with the 828es now. I can with other MIDI interfaces on the same and other DAWs. Tried so many different buffer and transmit combos.

MOTU interfaces are known for MIDI issues ever since the USB era. Especially with sysex. I don't expect this to get fixed, though it seems like it could be since it was recently made worse.

I am using a MIDI Express XT and don’t have any problems with system exclusive. I’ve got no reason to try the MIDI interface built into my 828 ES, but If I had time I would experiment with it and see if I have the same issues. Just a hassle getting to it.
