Audio dropouts with logic pro after 10.7... on ventura with 896mk3

Post by Oger71 »

Hi forum,

since updating to OSX ventura and logic pro 10.7 I get intermittent audio dropouts every 4 minutes about.
These glitches also appear when recording making reliable recording impossible.
I was on logic 10.4.7 before and everything worked perfect.
I updated logic to the latest version 10.7.7 but these problems still persist.
I use motu driver 89555 and cuemix 1.6. This is the latest drive I could find.
connected through USB.
All other audio software works great. And sound output is fine.

Also about every 10 time or so when I shut off the motu or unplug it I get a reboot.
But I don't think the interface is faulty because this is the second unit that does that.

Do I have to switch to newer hardware for full support with ventura?

any ideas?

best,
oger

Do you have any Izotope plug-ins that need updating? These will drop audio every few minutes if they can't find the license or your iLok.
