New Mac... can't export movie files

So, I migrated my system from a 2012 iMac running Catalina to a new MacBook Pro M1 running Ventura (13.0.1). It works great so far.
Except.
When I attempt to "bounce-to-disk" a Quicktime Movie (or any file categorized as "Core Audio Export" in the Bounce to Disk dialog), it fails.
DP goes through the motions I'm used to, runs the counter for the duration of the clip, apparently creating the mixdown audio file. Then I get an error message under a DP11 logo:
Digital Performer has encountered an error.
Mas,0 error reported by QuickTime Export Plugin
??? [-1]
Then the program crashes out, generating the standard Apple crash report dialog.
Bouncing to disk in the native "project" formats works fine. But I work on films, and need to export video.
I tried downloading and installing the latest Digital Performer again, in case there were files missed in the migration, but that didn't help. And when I go back to my iMac with the same project file, it bounces fine.
Thanks in advance for any ideas. I'll try the tech support chat once they open.

Besides getting this to MOTU Support, I would have the Activity Monitor window open. Have the newest activities on top and look for something turning red during the export. If something does, immediately drill down on that and see what you find. I have found a number of 3rd party conflicts this way.

Thanks. I did send in a ticket, and apparently this is a known bug between Digital Performer and OS 13.
"...there is a known issue with the Coreaudio Export formats that we're currently looking into. We're hoping to have this resolved in the next update to DP."
In the meantime, I can export WAV files and assemble them in a video program, or more easily, save the project to an external drive and walk it over to my old iMac (which is staying around to help me with my accounting software) and bounce to disk from there.

Ahhh... I just checked out this topic and I had a sneaky suspicion it might have been a "Ventura thing." I'm holding back on Monterrey until the coast is clear. The "cutting edge" isn't called that for nothing.

Yep. That’s the drawback to getting a brand shiny new Mac—it’ll have the brand shiny new OS already installed! I’m guessing that DP will catch up before I get too frustrated.

Oh bummer... I guess I'm lucky I bought mine before Ventura was released. You might be able to downgrade to Monterrey?

I noticed today that Ventura has been updated to version 13.1. I updated my MacBook, but the Digital Performer CoreAudio exporting error persists. I'll be hoping for a fix from MOTU, but meanwhileI can still export movies using my old iMac, which I'll be keeping on Catalina.

Rodney, since no new Macs have been introduced since the release of Ventura, I suspect you could downgrade your computer to Monterey (which I'm sticking with on my new Mac Studio M1 Max until I see a convincing argument to upgrade).
