Hi all,
I inserted a plug-in (echo) from the audio menu to a vocal track in a specific part of the song. I want to change it a bit, but I cannot find where it is now? Was a permanent change that I cannot adjust?
thanks, as always.
Sylvia

Using plugins from the “apple plug-in” command in the Audio menu is generally when you want to make the change permanently. Whether you made the change permanent depends on what you did, and IIRC, it depends on the version of DP you used. The current manual describes it on p913. Generally, you bring up the command and it lets you audition the selected plugin on the selected region, and then asks you if you want to apply it.

Note that in the current version, this function is labelled as a constructive edit. That means it is likely that DP made a copy of the audio with the effect applied, but kept the original. If so, the original will be in the folder containing all the audio files for the project, and should appear in the Soundbites window.

The more flexible approach is to put the plugin into an insert in the mixer channel, and then use automation to turn it on and off so it covers the range you want.
