Monitoring Video using DP.11 and Mac OS 12

Does anyone know what hardware/adaptors can be used to play Video from DP11 and a MacBook Pro (MacOS Monterey V 12.0.1)?
Prior to upgrading from DP8 and an older MacBook with Firewire, I was able to project Video in sync with backing tracks during live performance.
I was using a Canopus ADVC110 Video converter with a Firewire connection from a Motu 8Pre FW.
I can still play the backing tracks using the 8 Pre with the new MacBook (using a series of adaptor cables) however, I receive an Error message saying the Video Frame rate is not supported by my Hardware (probably referring to the ADVC110 - there are no driver updates available).
The Video Frame Rate is 29.97 Non Drop and that is what DP is set to.
The ADVC110 is showing in the Movie drop down menu in DP11 but gives me the above Error message when selected.

I need to somehow go from the USB-C on the Mac to an HDMI output, or from the FW on the 8Pre to HDMI
I'm hoping to keep using the 8Pre but I'm thinking I may need to update that.

Appreciate any input.

Not enough information. What MBP do you have? Do you have any external monitors? The right hub may do what you need.

Any HD TV via HDMI out...or computer monitor via thunderbolt/USB-C or HDMI...can just be used as a secondary (or third or fourth) computer monitor that you use for full screen DP video. It is truly better than the old firewire video out thing we use to have to do because there is no delay to account for. Just drag DP movie screen to the secondary monitor and make fulls screen. done. handled by MacOS. no video delay. :D
